Road trip from philly to cali and back in 50 days!! We are taking the southern route first with the Great Smoky Mountain National Park as our first stop. After California we are shooting right through the middle of the country. This is one of the best itineraries I have seen on the internet/travel books. We are taking several scenic drives such as the skyline drive down the Appalacian Mountains, the loniest road in Nevada, and Route 1 along the Pacific coast of California. We are spending most of our nights camping at National and State Parks. Some of our side adventures include the Field of Dreams in Iowa, Tijuana, and Cedar Amusement Park in Ohio. Not too shabby....
