Napa 2006 Independence

Perhaps the most expensive motel we've ever stayed at, but given the location the pricing is reasonable. Beds are pretty comfy.

2005 Carnival (finished at the same night, brought the bottle back)

Nice garden. Artistic setting.

This bottle gets one of the owners' picture on the bottle. Yummy.

We didn't plan this one. Found it when strolling the streets of downtown Napa. Nice little tasting room, comfortable leather chairs, welcoming old lady.

The late afternoon sun provided great lighting for photographing. Big yuan posed for hundreds of narcissist photos.

Absolutely the best winery of this trip. Excellence reds. Family style tasting room. Great host. And this is the only winery during this trip that offers free tasting.

First timers might have some difficulty finding the location. Tip: look for the American flag!

20 buck admission fee per person. We thought that the money for four tickets could buy us several bottles of nice wine, and decided not to go in.

As lovers of sweet wine, we regreted that we only bought 3 bottles of the Rose. After all, how can you get good wine like this in safeways at this price?
