There are three routes you can take from Gainesville, FL to Savannah, GA.

Route one: 75 to 10 to 295 to 95 (This route is the most direct and probably the quickest as long as you time your trip around 8:00am 12:00noon or 5:00pm Jacksonville traffic.)

Route two: Waldo to Stark to 10 to 295 to 95 (Per AAA two of the worst speed traps in Florida.)

Route three: 121 to 10 to 295 to 95 (May not be the quickest, however, is one of the more scenic.)

Did you do anything more than visit the beach? You entered information for 2 days; is that enough time to see and do all there is on Tybee Island? Did you visit the lighthouse?
