Hey, You can't go through life and do everything. What travelers need to do is savor, enjoy, and treasure each memory - and not waste one minute worrying about what we missed. I'd love to go to New York, France, Spain, Germany and Russia. Any or all, I'd love to go. I'll pack tonight!

The trip is organized alittle backwards. iwould start in New York. wanting to see the MOMA and the Triangle Shirt Waist Factory Museum. I would then fly to Russia to see The Hermitage and the Museum of Foreign Cultures. Then go to London;s Tate and National Gallery. I would like to see. Then on to Paris. I prefer the Impressionist museum behing the Louve and the scultpure Garden with Balzac and the Thinker. I would then go to Spain to see the Louvre along with the 15 th century tapestry art shop where the Kennedy Center Tapestry was made. Last I would see Portugal's Bilboa. Then fly back to Dallas, Texas. My reasons for going would be to continue to expand my knowledeg of art and pass thatknowledge along to other students at my community college.I also believe the trip should be longer. How could Florence be left off the list?

I would like to visit Paris France and visiting my daughter there, where her husband works. I live in Florida, semi-retired, waiting for disability due to an accident I had three years ago and left me with an injured nerve. Going to Paris, would be like a dream, seeing my daughter again after three years of not seeing her. Visiting the museums like the Louvre museum. There is no way that I can afford the trip on my own, but I have hope that this time I can make it.

I absolutely agree with yrahmes, a one day trip to France is unforgivable. I've lived/traveled in Europe during my military career and you can spend a life time exploring the continent. I sympathize with "A Yahoo! User" but the listing is a good start for first time or limited time adventurers. I would love to go back to Paris to bring in the New Year for my honeymoon. Paris is truly the city for lovers especially during the holidays. Bonne chance a tous!!

There is no "stay 1 day in Paris, next day in NY (USA)..." You simply CANNOT travel like that, it will kill you before you can see anything! A mimimum of 14 days in one place- where you can see a few site in and around where you stay (London, Paris, NY etc). Best kept secret for art? Bavaria, Germany. Most people do not understand how close European countries are to one another. Best get a eurail pass- and visit all european countries and soak in their thousands of years of art...and oh so much more!!! But if you go, go NATIVE- do NOT stay in "American hotels" or eat at "McDonalds"- you will miss out on the best each country has. Best to go like a peasant, get up before 8am to the Patiserries/Bakerei und Metzgerei...Buy bread/cheese/meat/pastry for each day and picnic along the way. Make sure to stay in Germany at small town ...I can't remember what you call them, little overnights that have existed for centuries=(I used to stay at a little place called the Zum Baren and it was to die for, for two for 1 night including dinner and breakfast $12) Visit Strassbourg, France to see the Cathedral- buy a dozen croissants!!!

I love France. I've always wanted to travel to Paris and all over France to see the many buildings, structures, art, people, the general land, and the night life. I am really interested in art, so France would really be a great place for me to go to. I would love to go to Europe, because I have never been to another country before. I was born here and have spent all 28 years of my life here in California. I have never even been on an airplane either. I sort of have a little break from my children now, so it would be wonderful if I could have the opportunity to travel. I am unfortunately homeless, living in a shelter, going through a divorce, and really could get away at least for a little while just to finally be able to do something nice for myself for a change. I have spent all my life trying to raise a family and do everything to please others and now it's time to finally do something nice for myself. If I won this trip to France or even a nice trip to Italy or Spain I would be in heaven.

This is a little bizarre. The Met, the Louvre and Guggenhiem Bilbao, OK, but St Petersburg without the Hermitage- Madrid without the Prado- London without the National Gallery or Tate? What's with that?
