You're brave to go to Moab, The Grand Canyon, and other Four Corners destinations in the summer (after Memorial Day). It gets super hot down there this time of year. That said, Lake Powell is a great summer destination.

I agree with suggestion of Lake Powell. When we went we rented a powerboat and went water skiing. I highly suggest at the very least spending some swimming time at the Lake. Moab (Arches Nat'l Park) and Grand Canyon are also some of the best American outdoor adventure that can be had!! Enjoy.

Looks like a great trip.. gotta love Arches, but a stop in Zion (or Bryce) is a great way to see some beautiful, but less croweded, national parks.
