we stood in some friends home outside orlando. it ment we had to do a two way trip of 1h30m every day. but i don't mind driving and these we stayed with friends, live like realy americans for 10 days, and saved on the hotel an average of 130 USD a day.
So, as far as hotel is related i can't really help you that much.
The disney parks are a must. So is Skyventure and gatorland. Seaworld is excepcional. i recomend one day to each park, gatorland you can see in less than a day, and skyventure is about 1 hour, but you should reserve.
