On your way back to Arkansas stop in Eureka Springs and check out the historical district. I promise you won't regret it.

You should have a great trip! We did this trip last summer...flew from Chicago to Denver, drove to Cody, WY (be sure to go to the rodeo), toured Yellowstone (nothing better! Be sure to go to Inspiration Point), toured the Grand Tetons (do the hike after a ferry across Jenny Lake), drove to Devils Tower (worth the drive), visited Mt. Rushmore during the day, headed to the Badlands (hit Wall Drug on the return), went to the lighting at Mt. Rushmore (very moving), saw Crazy Horse, drove to Denver via Rocky Mountain National Park (be sure to stop and throw some snowballs at the top!). A trip of a lifetime!!! Enjoy!

Thermoplis Wyo. is the home to the largest natural hot springs in the world ( 4 pools) , it will remove the wear & tear, aches & pains of the trip & give you the burst of energy for the remainder of the trip, ps theres a buffalo herd on the backside of the pool on the loop drive.
Remember when your at Yellowstone lake your setting on top of the largest volcano in the world & its growing.
