I just wanted to say I saw many pictures and videos of the Dominican Republic and I think It's beautiful. By the way my husband is Dominican. :) I heard the people are very nice and the food is great. I can't wait to experience It for myself In October.

i was born in Santo Domingo and I'm proud of the warmth of all my Dominicans friends offered me in new york. I have not been back in thirty years.

I was very poor I have bad memories from there. lots of my friends live there and i can't wait to get there again. Becouse it's time for a chance to get back and give back.

I am a world traveler. I been from Alaska to Chile, from Istanbul to Tokio, and many, many places in between. I assure you that I have not been to a friendlier place than the D.R.-all of it-(Thailand comes close). The warmth of its people, the food, the music and the beaches are all worth the trip. Of course there are a lot o beggars in the capital and Boca Chica beach! It's a poor country! They beg with the same intensity that they offer you their hospitality, their big smiles and even their love. You should either have a lot of change to give them or be firm with your NO. Then be ready to have a great time! Believe me, I Am Dominican.
