Hilda & Hubby's "Local's Know Da Kine-Best" Travel Hot Spots

ON MAUI: Big Beach / Makena State Park.
Not far from the FANTABULOUS shopping in Wailea. Adjacent to it is a nude beach called "Lil" Beach which is just on the other side of the hill from the parking area. (Any Bellman or Valet can give you directions, just ask after visiting any of the resorts in Waliea. If you do go swimming at any of the Beaches past Wailea, you can stop at the Maui Prince on the way back and go to the pool bar... they have showers to rinse off in so that if you want to stop off elsewhere before returning to the ship you will feel more comfortable.

ON MAUI: This is the most accessible park/location by car that provides stunning views, it's only 25 minutes from the airport/harbor in Kahului in Maui. **A must see if you like easy nature hikes and lush tropical scenery.

Maui/Kauai OPtion: I would take the flight on either Maui or Kauai (most scenic). I don't know if Sunshine operates on Kauai but I'm pretty sure Blue Hawaiian Helicopters does. -ask them for a 2 Island discount - if you want to really cover some ground but still have plenty of time to play.

The Heliport in Maui is located only about 12-15 min. away from the harbor. Most Helicopter companies offer shuttle service. They can pick you up and then drop you off at the rental car agencies on the other side of the airport (usually complimentary).

FLIGHTS:
On Maui; take either the West Maui Flight (30min. about $95 (well that's what it was when I worked for Papillon Helicopters, LOL!) Or the West Maui/Molokai Flight ($200).
