We've been saving money like crazy living off peanutbutters and jellies and bagels with garden and variety cream cheese. So now it's time to buys some supplies! We're going shopping for camping gear (I love saying that). It's getting so close I can almost taste the hot dry air of Joshua Tree!

soooooo, we've got our tent, and hiking shoes, and I even bought a pair of comfy sandals. I want to go now! This trip is all I can think about! I'm using so many exclamation points! Last night when we bought the tent I wanted to take it out of its package and set it up in our living room. I'm so glad I got to go camping when I was a kid. I feel sorry for those people who only set up a tent in their backyard when they want to camp. anyway, I'm already thinking of my next trip- a week long canoe trip down a river...

Justin and I have been revising our itinerary and I think it's finally set! It's so exciting to think about taking a two-month breather from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just enjoy the open road and everything that's out there to see!
