Puerto Rico

I think this is the one at Plaza Las Americas, but I'm not sure. Anyway, their Margaritas were really good, and the food was pretty good as well.

We went here several times during our stay. At first, language was kind of a big barrier, but we eventually got used to it. I don't think we really got to see the whole thing though, the mall was so huge, and I kept getting lost in the JCPenney store. Borders was kind of a disappointment though, because I couldn't find anything because it was so disorganized.

We saw two movies while we were here. We saw a late showing of a movie after the mall closed, and since the taxi stands were on the opposite side of the mall from the Cinema, we had to talk to a security guard who helped us get a cab on that side of the mall...no biggie.

We ate here on one of our very last days in Puerto Rico. There's a parrot and a fountain full of turtles here...it's pretty neat, although the parrot is quite loud. Their food was really good.

Morton's is located at the Caribe Hilton. We hadn't had a good steak for a really long time and decided to splurge a bit.

We ate breakfast here one morning it was very good and very afordable.

The Normandie was a nice hotel. We stayed there for ten nights at the beginning of our vacation. There's not much of a beach here, but other than that, the hotel was nice enough and the beds were comfy. Location was great, we walked to Old San Juan a few times. The Concierge was very helpful with getting us tours to El Yunque and Rio Camuy. It is right next to the Caribe Hilton.

This is a beautiful and luxurious hotel in the heart of San Juan. We stayed here for two nights over our 1st year Anniversary, which happened to be Easter Sunday. They offered a delicious Easter brunch and we enjoyed a very nice breakfast there.

We stayed here for four nights at the end of our vacation. Ammenities were plentiful, although the hotel itself was a little dated. It was in a very good location, right at the beginning of Condado, closest to Old San Juan.
