Well, there is nothing in Nicaragua. I used to live in Nicaragua for many years, so I know very well that country. If you go to Nicaragua, you will find a lot of poor people, thieve and homeless. You will find them all over the place. It is true even in USA we have homeless but in Nicaragua you will see in big scale. Also, the $andini$ta government is very corrupt like the President. If you go there, be aware of those people, the $andini$ta$. Good luck
I think Nicaragua is a beatiful place and just like any other countries it also has its bad things but Ithink the person name JA it is not doing it justice or he has never been in another country; I think when you go there you are going to love the simple way the people live and you are going to enjoy not having to rush for anything also you are going to enjoy the natural beauty of the forest and the baches and everything is so close that you can visit diferent places on the same day or you can just sit and enjoy every place you go; like I did; do not let people tell you bad things about a place that they are bias against and one more perk it is a lot cheaper than Costa Rica.
