Well...after looking everything up it seems as if the tours and transportation for the side trips will cost about $1200. That would be for the granddaddy of all Japan tours. Then you have to figure money for food and for regular train fare for the places around here that we go.

Let me know if we need to cut stuff out to accommodate the pocketbook.
