I've booked my tickets to Jakarta for a 4 days trip in end Aug - early Sep. Me (single mom) and my kid (less than 2 years old) are meeting a former colleague there during our visit.
Any idea where else we can visit? How's the Sea World and Fantasy World there? Worth the visit?
Shopping is a must, heard that they have variety of kids' clothes. ;-)

Just remembered. Near Sparks Hotel to the left about 5-10minits walk, theres a cool hair salon shop..its called kedai senget or seomthing becauses it is tilted when seen from outside.You pay for a hairwash but you get so much in return including a neck and shoulder massage.helps after long shopping walks. after that you can straight away eat at kedai sederhana.they actually have a few outlets here and there. offers nasi padang. good food and cheap!! ill post the nasi padang pic.
