Experience Europe through the sites and cities in the Da Vinci Code.
Filmed in the summer and autumn of 2005 in Paris, the United Kingdom, and Malta. The production had over 140 sets (the average film has around 50). The movie will be released in approximately 70 countries on May 19, 2006, and will be translated into 10 different languages.
Was designed by Francois Mansart who also designed Chateau de Versailles.

Filming took place over three nights on the grounds of the chateau, though the majority of the interiors (apart from the foyer) were filmed on various sound stages at Shepperton Studios in London.
During WWII Nazi Generals occupied the home.
Dan Brown visited the Chateau three years ago, after owner Olivia Hsu Decker gave him a complete tour he decided he would use the Chateau in the book. Olivia did not find out until after the book was out.

Although the exterior street scenes just outside the Abbey were shot adjacent to Westminster Abbey, the interior of the Abbey and the Chapter House were both shot at Lincoln Cathedral, some three hours north of London.
While shooting in Lincoln Cathedral the production included many church patrons in their shots.
