CAPRI or POMPEII, ITALY

As we had been to Capri several years ago and thoroughly enjoyed, we decided to go to Pompeii. We journeyed down the Amalfi coastline, first to Positano where the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun" was filmed, then to Priano with its church of San Gennaro to the village of Fiore. Positano was a vertical town built into the cliffs, offering spectacular views with a vertical drop, through Atrani to Pompeii with its view of Mt. Vesuvius. Not to miss: the lava encrusted remains of the eruption.
