China, representing one of the earliest civilizations in the world, has a recorded history of about 5,000 years. It possesses rich historical documents as well as ancient relics. As the capital of the People's Republic of China, Beijing has been the heart and soul of politics and society throughout its long history and consequently there is an unparalleled wealth of discovery to delight and intrigue travelers as they explore Beijing's ancient past. Now, there are still a lot of culture relics and historic sites which have existed for thousands of years. I absolutely love Washington D.C. I am going for my second time on spring break this year, with my school. The first time I went, I was on a 6 day tour of eastern America. We visited towns such as Philadelphia, Gettyburg, Williamsburg, Lancaster, Jamestown, and Washington D.C. By the time we got to D.C. (our last stop of the tour), we only had one free afternoon. We went on this tour with Tauck Tours, and were very satisfied. Unfortunately, we visited during the summer, and it was VERY humid and scorching hot. We still enjoyed the trip.
