This is a great vacation spot. Be nice to the locals and you will be treated very well. Remember that almost all occupations are financially supplemented by tips (propinas). This includes dive masters, maids, waiters, taxi drivers, etc. Use dollars. If you want any expert info on the island feel free to contact me.
