We are planning a trip to Marbella in Jan, 2007.
We will be staying at the Marriott Timeshare. How did you get around to Granada, Seville and Gibraltar? Is it necessary to rent a car or are there tours? We are taking the train to Malaga from Madrid, but might decide to stay in Seville for 1-2 nights on the way to Malaga. Thanks!!

My husband and I are new timeshare owners and are going to the Marbella Marriott Jan 19th--Feb 2. We are flying into Malaga and I guess will take a taxi from there. If you have any information to share I would really appreciate it. this will be our first trip across the ocean. We are from Maine and usually go to Aruba :-)

I really would suggest renting a car. We did all day trips. Why go all the way across the ocean and not explore. Its really safe - we left durning day light and returned at dusk. The smaller the car the better.

Hi is there anymore you can say about what to do. Did you go to Morocco.. I am here until March 9 and rented a car but it was a manual. stick shift so I took a bus to Marbella and a taxis to the Marriott Beach resort...I must say this atmosphere is relaxing and fabulous...I was told to go to the Old city ...and that Morocco...residents bombard you will selling.. bubbling brown suga
