I revise my earlier statement about driving times. I remember the corkscrew roads and hairpin turns, the sheep chilling in the middle of the road, and the fact that everything's in KM. Let's give ourselves at least one hour above the stated distance.

If we do Shannon-Dublin-Waterford-Cork-Dingle-Ring of Kerry-Kenmare, we can be fairly certain that the drive time between each place will be between 2-3 hours (not bad) except in the case of Ring of Kerry-Kenmare, which is more like 4. But since the scenic drive is the event (like driving up the Pacific Coast Highway), that's cool too.
