My wife and I had a delightful long weekend escape to the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. We found the "seam" between the christmas rush and spring break and the resort was delightfully empty. The ambiance is soooo perfect for a romantic getaway with sunsets, attentive staff, quiet & well-groomed grounds, top notch spa, quiet beaches etc. But there were also lots of activities for us too - surfing, boogy boarding, snorkeling, horseback riding.

Only downside is that the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua is a little remote and the food at the resort is relatively expensive.

All in all, a wonderful romantic getaway and we're going back!
