Calw (F. p 272) One of Black Forest's prettiest towns; Baden-Baden - Everyting that matters is cluttered within a 10-minute walk between the baths and the casino; Drive from Freiburg to Baden-Baden - Leave Freidburg to St Peter (a fine four mile walkd between St Margen and St. Peter with regular buses to bring you back). Wind up to Furtwagne with the impressive Deutsches Uhrenmuseum (German Clock Museum) (see separate entry). To Triberg - Deep in the Black Forest - famous for its Gutach Waterfall and the Black Forest Museum. Continue north through Freudenstadt and onto the Schwarzwald-Hochstrasse. (RS p. 105 map).

F p. 519; Many of the half-timber, low-gable buildings house businesses that have been here for centuries. The Ratsapotheke across from the Rathaus is one of the town's olderest buildings and medicin has been doled out here since 1322. Schrodersches Haus is possible the most appealing storefront in all Germany.
