Talk about this trip (10)
I was in NYC once 2 years ago. It was great. It was a cold spring afternoon and riding the doubledecker bus! But my girlfriend and I only had a limited window of time before heading back to Delaware. One day I want to go back and do it up proper and stay in a wonderful hotel like this and just go crazy sightseeing.

I LOVE NYC!!! Everything about it is great, whether you stay in a 5 star hotel or not. Just to be in the worlds greatist city is all you need to have a great time. So if you go soak it all in and trust me you will never forget your trip to NYC!

I was in NYC early December 2005 for my Honeymoon. My husband and I are from Melbourne, Australia and we absolutely fell in love with everything NYC has to offer. We spent 10 nights staying in the Upper West Side and it was such an amazing experience. All day every day was spent out sightseeing even though it was snowing! We don't see much snow in Australia so it was just a beautiful sight. We hope to one day go back and spend a few weeks there or even live and work in NYC for 12 months. I think NYC is a city everyone has to visit at least once in their life time!

Love NYC! I try to go at least once a year. Some favorite "touristy" type things I love: walk or carriage ride through park to Tavern on the Green(winter) or the Loeb Boat House for lunch (summer), stroll slowly through Grand Central Station and grab a dessert at the market, see Times Square at night, visit ABC Carpet & Home for little things, window sight-see during the holiday season, shope at least once at Bloomingdale's, have fresh Sangria at Serafina's during a hot day, have pizza at John's Pizzeria (love it!), sit at an outdoor cafe and have a glass wine in Little Italy, dinner at Frankie & Johnny's, view the tree and ice skaters at the holidays in Rockefeller Center, visit the window of ABC and wave to Diane Sawyer (love her!), always visit Serendipity 3 - have yet to make reservations but always buy frozen hot chocolate to go, take a stroll through Trump Tower, pray and visit at St. Patrick's Cathedral, When I visit - I make the list of things I want to do and map it out to conserve time! The best part is taking someone that has never visited and watching them fall in love with it too!

NYC is a world of its own. My absolute favorite place to be. I highly recommend walking as much as possible to avoid missing anything. There are so many great shops, restaurants and art galleries. Things not to miss are Little Italy, Strawberry Fields (an area named for John Lennon in Central Park), Soho and Greenwich Village. Hidden treasures are everywhere and the whole city is a great backdrop for photography. I love NY!

My partner and I love NYC, it is our favourite city in the world (we are from Australia). We have not been back since 2000 and will be going back next with our 5 year old son and I can't wait. There is just something special about this city and until you've been there and felt the vibe it gives you, you can't truly understand! I say go, go, go and you'll love it!
