i am spending a few days in kuwait waiting for my flight time. so i thought i should add this experience to my travel journeys.
8/19/5: after arriving in kuwait, i went to the Kempinski Julaia Hotel and Resort. I am in a cabanna-type room/building that is common for this area. i have a downstairs room with its own bathroom, toliet, and shower. the patio overlooks the sea. the currency exchange rate is 100 us dollars to 28 kuwait dinar.
8/20/5: after waking up and eating a typical breakfast style buffet, i walked along the beach. i found that to be as dirty and trashy as i have found the rest of the country. the hotels pools and spa are wonderful. i found the gym to be very clean but spartan. the taxi ride for about 5 k(2.6 m)cost 3 kd(12 $). i spent most of the day around the pool naping amid the palm trees.
8/20/5: check out from the kempinski, and move up the road to the Khalifa Resort.
