Experience the Legendary Grand Falls Gorge!
Tour one of New Brunswick's top attractions the Grand Falls Gorge! Begin your visit at the Malabeam Information Centre and hear the legend of the young Native girl who saved her village by luring a Mohawk tribe over the great falls and 23 m (75.5 ft.) down into the Gorge! Follow our network of hiking trails and walk down 250 steps to the 'Wells in the Rocks' where you'll witness one of nature's wonders. Then embark on a pontoon-boat ride through the Gorge, which is 1.5 km (one mile) long and rises higher than 70 m (229 ft.)!
Devote your afternoon to the town of Grand Falls! Explore the quaint stores of Broadway Boulevard, the widest street east of Winnipeg, spanning 44 m (144 ft.)! This route, developed by the military in 1840, is now home to some of the most unique stores. You'll find handmade crafts from colourful quilts to warm sweaters!
