French taste, Hawaiian style. That's how it works for Lyon-born Nicolas “Nico” Chaize turned “local-boy” and award winning Nico's at Pier 38 Restaurant & Fish Market. Chef Nico spent several years working at some of the best eateries in Hawaii, learning the local tastes and refining his fine dining culinary skills. The result is Nico's at Pier 38, where the specialty is gourmet food in a “plate lunch” delivery.

In 2004, the original Nico's at Pier 38 seated 80 people under a green awning in a carved out corner of the POP Fishing & Marine building located in the heart of the Pier 38 Honolulu Fishing Village. Over the years, word got out about the fresh fish and flavors coming from this lunch hot spot popular with locals, tourists, office and dock workers alike. Since then, Nico's has been rebuilt next door into a 160-seat open-air restaurant complete with full bar and fish market – open 7 days a week and offering dinner Monday to Saturday.

A limited number of walk-in tickets will be available each day. There is no fee for walk-in tickets.

Tickets must be picked up one (1) hour prior to your tour. Unclaimed tickets will be reissued to walk-in traffic. Plan for traffic and allow time to find a parking spot in one of the free lots located within walking distance of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.

In the event of an emergency or unexpected cancellation, we will do our best to rebook you at another time.

Restrooms
There are no public restroom facilities available once the tour begins, so visitors are encouraged to use the facilities at the visitor center before meeting at the theater.

Food and Beverage
Other than clear bottled water, no food or drinks are allowed in the theater, on the shuttle boats, or at the USS Arizona Memorial.

Visitors are reminded that they are visiting a site of tremendous loss of life in service to our country. Sandals are permissible, but bathing suits or profane T-shirts are discouraged.
