The Window Room combines an original 1845 bed room with an extension undertaken around 1940 to modernise the building with the addition of an enclosed bathroom when the Crown & Anchor Inn became the home of the Chief Forestry Officer for the region. The Window room is one of the largest and has a large ensuite with a full bath. Much of the plumbing, tiling and bathroom features dating from the 1940 extension have been retained. The double bed is a reproduction Georgian four poster. The original paintings are by local artist Ken Taber whose studio is near Mogo south of Batemans Bay. A small table with chairs affords an exceptional view of Twofold Bay. There is a separate access out to the rear deck from the room
$380 for 2 nights.
