There is a lot to do in central Rome. Which is where we meet.

Places we can cover: Piazza Navona, Fori Imperiali, Flea Market, Vatican Museum, Colosseum.

Time we have: 8-9 hours.

Mode of transport: We will park the car in Roma Termini parking lot. Walk, total walk would be around 8KM.

Parking: ES Park.

Costs: You are able to buy full day passes for €12. This pass gets you in to the Colosseum (Colosseo), Palatine Hill (Palatino Hill), the Baths of Caracalla (Terme di Caracalla), and the catacombs as well as the Terme di Diocleziano, Palazza Massimo alle Terme, Crypta Balbi, Palazzo Altemps, Villa dei Quintili, and the Tomb of Cecilia Metella.

Places to see: Ruins of Pompeii

Time we have: 7 hours

Mode of transport: Walk. They rent bikes but are impractical because the surfaces suck.

Parking: Do not park near the site, very expensive. Check hotel for parking spots. They have quite a few close to the ruins.

Costs: Ticket to the ruins costs Euro 11.

Recommended: Buy a guide book. The official guide book is, Pompeii: Guide to the site, published by Electa Napoli

Caution: the ruins site does not have good food and it is expensive.

Places to see: Dino Island and the beaches around it. The place also has several spots for nice hikes. Paragliding?

Costs: I could not find the cost of paragliding.

Parking:Dino Island is 1.7KM from the hotel we are staying at. So, just leave the car there and move on.

We can start late on this day after the few days of hectic trip we would have had.

Places to see: Temple of Concordia and other Temples. Archeological Museum for summary of these.

Transport: City buses or walk depending on temperature.

Costs: The buses cost about Euro 1 per person. The valley of temples costs Euro 16.
