The best thing to do once you arrive at Bali airport is arrange a airport taxi to take you to Sanur. I like Sanur because it's not as busy as Kuta and it's a nice place to relax after a long flight. There are many great places to eat along the beach and nice Balinese accommodations.
We always travel around Bali by motorbike, so Sanur is the best place to hire one for the next 10 days.

We will be back in Sanur on our last day. We always find it convenient to stay here if we need to get to the airport the next day.

Woke up early to head to North Bali. From Ubud there is a nice route through the mountains passing Lake Bratan with the famous Ulun Danu Bratan Temple. After admiring the view of Lake Buyan the road goes all the away downhill towards Singaraja and ending in Lovina. Upon arrival we arranged a Dolphin trip for the next morning!

It's about a 30 minutes drive from Pemuteran to Labuan Lalang. Once at the harbour we arranged the papers and a guide as the area we went to is part of a national park. The officials there give the correct prices, so don't worry about paying too much.

The boatman and guide took us to the best places to see the amazing under water world. We decided to go early to avoid the heat of the sun and before the big crowds arrive. We also had enough time after the snorkeling to continue our journey to the refreshing Munduk, located in the mountains.

Once in Munduk we arranged a guide for the next day for some hiking through the area. Besides the tropical surrounding, other hightlights are the waterfalls. At Munduk became really chilly after the sun had set. So it was great to sit on the verandah sipping hot tea and admiring the mountain views around us.
