A trip from August 31, 2011 to October 12, 2011, travelling to London, Paris, Amsterdam, Munich, Venice …

I feel so thankful that I have the opportunity to take this trip and experience a once in a lifetime adventure! This will be my FIRST trip to Europe and my first time traveling for an extended period of time.
Thanks for visiting my trip planner! I would LOVE to hear your advice, tips and thoughts on my planned trip. Any MUST SEE cities or sights????
I am unsure if I have spaced out the days well, I tried to allow for at least 4-5 nights in the bigger cities and 2-3 nights in the smaller cities and in cities I have less interest in. I know I can't see everything in 6 weeks, but if you have any ideas on how I can maximize my time, I would appreciate it!
Also, take a look at my budget and let me know your thoughts! Thanks! Sleeping mostly in hostels while occasionally couch surfing (to save a few nights accommodations and for the experience). Eating inexpensive "street foods", grocery store snacks and cheap cafes. I want to buy and ship souvenirs home and not be worried about paying for museum/activity entry fees. I know that I will have to make allowances for public transportation, tips, incidentals, etc...
After paying for airfare, rail pass, backpack and supplies for the trip, I am budgeting $100 USD per day. Or $4200 spending/living money while in Europe.
I bought an open jaw plane ticket for $1100 from Seattle to London and from Lisbon Portugal back to Seattle.
I will be buying a 15 day in 2mth Eurail Pass for $750 soon.
I will be adding to and updating my trip planner as I work out the details, check back to see the changes and thank you for your thoughts!
