Two Year plan - Scotland Vacation 2013

I will use this journal to keep up with plans as they are made, and important information I discover and need to remember.

There will be no particular order to entries, just as they come up I will enter them. Then when I get closer to an actual day of departure and a real itenerary, I will pull all this together and it will make more sense.

First, tonight I checked out what flights cost today for a round-trip to Glasgow, and I found that the price would be between $700-$1000.
I know this will change as time passes, but it gives me a starting point.

I also have several destinations and sights to see on my list which are probably not in chronicle order, but I can move these around as needed as I gather more information on the locations as well as cost/price for getting there or staying at each.

I am excited about actually planning this trip. I want it to be the best. I will learn about the land, people and other interesting facts which I'll need to know before going. Right now, I don't know enough, but by the time I am boarding the plane, I hope to be a (semi) expert on Scotland.
