Road Trip to Pennsylvania

Coming into Intercourse today we passed an Amish teen on rollerblades. Seemed strange??

Some expensive pottery and some not so costly pieces, depending on the artist.

We were leaving Intercourse and followed a family in a very full buggy that had a white plastic lawn chair hanging from the back with a kid in it! Bizzare.

While looking for a place to eat, where we wouldn't have to wait long, we come across a row of 16 yellow school bus colored mustangs and 1 royal blue one in the middle. They were from a variety of states, according to the license plates and parked at a hotel/dining complex. What a site it was.

I do not even know how to describe this dining experience...cheesy, mismatched paper plates, sticky floor, free samples of apple cider handed to you when your waitress brings the menu (in paper "bathroom" cups), "amish BBQ"??? items on the menu along with oldies music blaring into the parking lot that is shared with an amish restaurant and stores. Ya know that their only business was from the customers that didn't want to sit and wait at the authentic Amish Buffet. I still don't know what to say!

O.K. Was this an experience. We are turning around to stop at this covered bridge and a "&#@%*" gives us this laying on the horn song (equivalent to the "finger") because we are slowing down and then.....we are taking pics and walking thru the covered bridge and we hear squealing and rubber being laid. This van stops before crossing the bridge and a large and in charge lady gets out of the drivers seat and slams the door. The passenger gets out and jumps in the drivers side and drives off. She sits in the ditch, on her cell phone for abit and then starts walking. What a bridge it was!
