Day 1

Arrival in Panama City Arrival at the Tocumen Airport in Panama City where the tour manager welcomes you and takes you by bus to your hotel in Panama City. *Overnight at a city hotel (-/-/-)


Day 2

“Old Town – Sluice Miraflores” Early in the morning you will visit the Old Town of Panama. The oldest city of Panama was built 1519 of the Spaniards and grew up into one of the most important cities of the world, until the English pirate Henry Morgan took it in 1671 and destroyed it completely. From there, you will go on to the Miraflores Locks at Panama Canal. The Panama Canal which was established in 10 years by 75,000 men and women counts as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Since the startup in 1914 more than 900,000 transport ships used the new waterway. After then you can enjoy a nice lunch in the restaurant of the canal building with a beautiful outlook at the Miraflores sluice. *Overnight at a city hotel (B/-/-)


Day 3

“Casco Viejo – Canal Museum” After breakfast you will visit the beautiful district “Casco Viejo” which will remind you on the colonial past of the city. Let yourself be impressed by this breathtaking outlook to the skyline of Panama City! After it, you will visit the Panama Canal Museum where they will inform you about the the history and economic function from the Panama Canal. There you will see how the people who worked on the establishment of the Panama Canal lived – the museum shows in a very impressing manner the hard work and modest live of the worker at that time. Following your trip continues to the private island Taborcillo where you get a historical tour in the John Wayne City with an English guide. *Overnight at a cityhotel , (B/-/D)

Day 4

The private island Taborcillo - island round trip Taborcillo, the small pacific private island with white sandy beaches, old mango trees and enchanting flora and fauna, is the home of many exotic birds which have chosen the south of the island to their nest site. With some luck you can observe a quite special spectacle of nature: Our special “Turtles breeding program” will give you the opportunity to observe the "Cahuamas" (turtles) putting their eggs in the sand or to watch the fresh-slipped very closely playing in the water. The western city which was established to the former island owner and western hero John Wayne makes you straight away in your banish. Finally with the boat trip around the island you can discover many different kinds of birds and iguana and marvel at. *Overnight on the private island Taborcillo, (B/L/D)

Day 7

Day trip: El Valle de Antón After breakfast, a bus will take you to El Valle de Antón, a small village on the crater of an extinct volcano. At the famous Sunday market you can try and by lots of local fruits and vegetable and learn about the local craftwork. After the visit to the crafts market, you can attempt to interpret mysterious rock drawings. These centuries-old vestiges of the Indian culture of the past have not been fully deciphered to date. The following destination is a real adventure! You will cross the treetops of the tropical rain forest – of course safe on the rope – where you can enjoy the wonderful view to the waterfall “El Macho”. Subsequently after lunch, you will delight in a great variety of exotic plants and animals at the marvellous El Nispero park. Here, you will also have the opportunity, for example, to see the “Golden Frog”. *Overnight on the private island Taborcillo, (B/L/D)

Day 9

National park Rio Chagres - Indian's village of the Emberas After a balanced breakfast a coach will take you to Chagres National Park and afterwards to the river Rio Chagres. The "Priagua" (boat of the locals) will take you on the Chagres river to a small village of the Embera Indians who live their in their tradional houses far away from civilisation in the rain forest. A time trip in the past reveals you the history, traditions and dances of the natives of Panama. The 100 inhabitants of the village community originally come from the mountainous areas of the province of Darien. The lunch will be prepared by the Indians for you. Day 10

Boat trip to the mangrove woods By boat belonging to the island, you will drive with a guide through the small water ways near the obvious mangrove woods, pass "Robinson Island" and go back to Taborcillo again. *Overnight on the private island Taborcillo, (B/L/D)


Day 11

Relax and beach day Let the last day on Taborcillo fade aways in a cozy atmosphere with a walk or a rest in one of the comfortable hammocks on the beach. In the evening the team of Taborcillo will serve you a five course Candlelight Dinner with delicious wine. *Overnight on the private island Taborcillo, (B/L/D)


Day 12

Cityhotel, Possibility for shopping After lunch, you will go back to Panama City and stay in a central situated city hotel. Panama maintains the second largest foreign trade zone of the world and is suited ideally to do the shopping of branded articles. Go to “Via España”, nearby, on exploration or relax in one of the many cafés or restaurants! You also have the possibility to saunter along the riverside walk and to enjoy the impressive look at the skyline of the city. *Overnight at the city hotel, (B/L/-)


Day 13

Transfer to Tocumen Airport for your return flight
