On-Street Parking:

On-street parking in the Fisherman's Wharf area can be difficult to find, especially during peak summer visitation season, and nearly every street space has a parking meter. Visitors should also be aware that meters are restricted to two hours maximum parking. (A visit to Alcatraz and back takes approximately 2.5 hours.)

Commercial Parking Lots

There are fifteen commercial lots within a five-block radius of the Hornblower Alcatraz Landing at Pier 33, with a total of more than 3,000 parking spaces.

*Note: There is no parking on Pier 33.

Tasting and Lunch

No reservations required... They open cellar up if it is raining outside.

Via the Golden Gate Bridge/
Highway 101
Travel North on 101 to Novato. Take Hwy. 37 exit to Hwy. 121 to Napa/Sonoma. Continue on Hwy. 121 to Hwy. 29. Turn left onto Hwy. 29 and follow signs north to St. Helena. Markham is located approximately 2 miles north of St. Helena on the right-hand side of Hwy. 29/128, at the intersection of Hwy 29 and Deer Park Road.

Via the Bay Bridge/Interstate 80
Travel east on I-80 to Vallejo. Take Hwy. 37 (Napa/Columbus Pkwy.) exit. Follow signs to Napa and continue on Hwy. 37 to Hwy. 29. Turn right onto Hwy. 29 and continue north through Napa Valley to St. Helena. Markham is located approximately 2 miles north of St. Helena on the right-hand side of Hwy. 29/128, at the intersection of Hwy 29 and Deer Park Road.
