I used to have a condo and house in Kona for a number of years. -18- to be exact. It is the most beautiful and restful place I hae ever been. The food in wonderful. There are many unique things to do and see there-none of which were mentioned in this article.There are many things that all famiy members can enjoy-actitivities for the young and young at heart and numerous learning experiences for all ages as well. I can't wait to return there. Also there is a cruise you can take around all of the islands as an alternative to all of that hotel check in and out-My neice just did that and enjoyed it emensely also.

Yes, the article is a bit difficult to follow. But I can still trace the enjoyment Elen experienced. Hawaii is meant to be experienced from all angles and viewpoints. Hopefully Elen touched the heart of someone in a similar situation and has encouraged them to seek out the spirit of aloha.
