I am getting more and more excited as I book more hotel rooms! I only have 3 things left to book, and that is the car and rooms in Vermont and Maine. My problem with Vermont is that is is quite expensive for rooms where I want to stop, so I am still working through my master plan for that state. As for Maine, that is also waiting for some planning. I kind of want to go on a moose tour, but that might not be everything that I want it to be so I have to decide if it is worth it. I do, however, plan on stopping for a maine lobster lunch! Any suggestions?
The mission: one week to see all of New England. "But this is impossible," you are thinking. I beg to differ. It may seem like a lot to do, but I am sort of famous for planning trips of this nature. The parameters are that we don't spend more than three hours per day in the car, and the budget is no more than $700 per person. I've already saved by lucking out with a cheap flight from Chicago to Manchester, NH for $199. I chose this location because it is cheaper to rent a car from Manchester than any other city I considered. It is about $30 cheaper to fly into Boston, but is costs about $300 more to rent a car!
