So I started geocaching back in December of 2007 and am now going to my first mega event (Midwest Geobash 2009), which will also double as a road trip across Pennsylvania and Ohio. Since I am going to be so far into Ohio I decided I might as well jump over into Indiana and Michigan.
I am currently 106 hours and 35 minutes away from hitting the road with a cup 'o joe, Elizabeth (my car based GPS), Elizabeth's Buddy (my handheld GPS), a camera, my trip binder, a cooler full of food and just enough clothes to get me by.
Other than booking my hotel room for two nights in Wauseon and having one of my car tires replaced, I haven't done a single thing to start getting ready. I really don"t have much to do other than decide on geocaches and waymarks I want to hit.
In Indiana, there is a Nature Preserve that has a collection of privies I want to visit...I hope I make it there.
I still haven't figured out what there is to do in souther Michigan.
