Day 1 of vacation- we drove & drove again & drove even more...HAHA We arrived in Sioux Falls SD around 4pm. Took a short nap in hotel then had dinner at Famous Daves BBQ - It was great food.. Then We went for a long walk in Falls Park & looked at the Falls & went up in the observation Tower. It was a very nice, peaceful time.
Day 2 - we drove on to Custer South Dakota. On the way we drove thru the badlands & went to Wall drug store. Set up camp in Custer and went to Mount Rushmore & Crazy Horse Monument. We saw lots of wildlife as we drove all day.
Day 3 - We spent the whole day driving around. We went to Hot springs to see the Mammoth dig & that was very interesting. On the way back we drove thru Custer State Park and saw lots of Buffalo & Prairie dogs. Ed would not let me take one home...POUT...We had a very nice anniversary dinner at Cattlemans steak house. Then Later we found a homemade pie shoppe & ate pie & ice cream...yummmm...
Day 4 - We drove-then drove some more- Ed took a nap in car while I drove some more...lol... then we ended up in Omaha Nebraska at our next camp site. KOA sites have been excellent the whole trip. Then we slept.......
