We plan to relax this time around,enjoy the resort and each other. Our vacations end up being very busy(not a bad thing); I would like to be a little lazy on this trip.... Much needed.
Arrived at the Puerto Plata airport but apparently our bags didn't. LOL
We stayed at the Oasis Marien Resort and roughed it 2.5 days without our bags. Not too bad but got a little frustrated by the morning of the 3rd day.
Resort staff was very friendly and upgraded our room (for free) which was a plus. Our plan was to get a little R&R and thats just what we did{We ate, laid out on the beach, played pool B-ball, laid out on the beach, ate} I think you get the picture :) We were walking distance from the "Plaza" and picked up a few souvenirs.
Visited Fort San Felipe and viewed the San Felipe Church from the sidewalk. Mothers day in the DR was being observed while we were on Holiday so the streets were full of loved ones buying & wrapping gifts for their mothers'.
