Okay so i've been playing around and I dont think there is an actual proper way to add new places to the trip once we have created it, but you can add new items under the category of "city", it merely doesnt show up in the list of cities you are visiting. I did this with Barcelona, as you may see.
Do we want to create a new trip once we have figured out the majority of the places we WANT to visit, and then just go from there? cuz its not like we are going by a strict schedule so we can always throw other places in if we want! I made a list of places that I want to see under my profile. Let me know what you want to do!
WAIT!! I Figured it out!!! If you just go add item and put in the city, and then if you go to edit it after it lets you put in a url, put the one that yahoo travel has, and put the city and country in and save it, and then it shows in the cities you are travelling to!!
