I lived about 2 miles from Livorno back in the 60's The best thing about livorno is its proximity to Pisa. Loved Malta. It had just achieved independence when we were there. The people are very friendly and generous. They have been invaded by every country on the map. as a result they are a distinctive looking people. Lots of history and some great ruins to explore
