Just someplace basic at a half-way point between destinations - this will be my "base camp" for several day trips. I've had good luck w/La Quinta in several other states and they don't charge extra for dogs plus they have a nice loyalty points program.

I've been looking forward to 2009 for a few years now - I'll turn 55 on Jan 31 and intuitively I've seen this as a year of BIG changes for me. I've set some VERY "lofty" goals, I'm off to a pretty good start and I'm REALLY looking forward to see what unfolds!
I'm not even sure I can make this trip happen but I'm giving it everything I've got right now because it seems like it would really help me launch my 55th year with a BANG! ;-)

This is looking pretty "agressive" considering that both Kay & I have chronic pain & fatigue BUT its fun to record my wish list of what to do while we're there and hopefully we'll get in a little sightseeing and I can get a feel for whether I'd like to relo to W LA someday! :-)
