Definitely slow going, but now that I'm on the interstate, I can make better progress. I'm going to have to stick to driving and stops for gas because it looks like I'm heading into some stormy weather to the east. I might turn down to 20 at Birmingham AL to hopefully avoid some of that mess, but we'll see. Next stop Ok city.
I got the house finally cleaned out completely. I already had most of it out and in storage, but it's amazing how many little bits and pieces are there. I had movers come and just paid them for their time to move everything into the trailer since I had already boxed (almost) everything. Between getting the trailer set up and other things for the trip, I didn't get out of the area until Thursday morning. I've driven through the canyons and passes in southern Utah in the past and it's not fun at night, so I stayed the extra day. Thursday will be a day I was glad for it to be over.
