Frutillar has two parts to it that are almost completely separated – Frutillar Bajo (Low Frutillar) and Frutillar Alto (High Frutillar). The lower area surrounds you with picturesque beauty, while the higher part situated up a steep hill is just a chaotic pile of houses and shops. Buses and other transport usually enter through the high part so don't feel disappointed, the nice part is just below on the lake edge. You need to take a taxi or cheap colectivo (shared taxi) to get to the beautiful lake area which can also be walked in 15 or 20 minutes (it's all downhill!). The city of Osorno is considered by Chileans as one of the least attractive cities in Chile, so consider it a transportation hub only.
Tienen que llegar a ENTRELAGOS, que esta de osorno a la cordillera, no estoy seguro si encontraras de frutillar directo a entrelagos pero en caso de que no haya, te tomas un bus a osorno y de ahi a entrelagos, no te preocupes por las distacias que son muy cortas. Cuando vallas a tomar el bus a entrelagos, pregunta a que hora llegaran y me llamas para yo saber a que hora ir a buscarlos. En caso de que tengas que ir a osorno para tomar el bus a entrelagos, debes llegar al terminal de buses locales para tomar el que sale a entrelagos, eso esta muy cerquita del terminal de buses inter urbanos, ahi le preguntas a cualquier persona.
