I've listed activities for each location. Asterisks are stuff I care more about. There's a day at the beginning and end for international travel, so that leaves 19 days in the middle.

Thu 02/05/09 (day 1) - Haymarket

Thing to Do
Haymarket, VA 20169
Thu Feb 5 12:00am
Notes
Get luggage that I can easily carry - not a lot of room in jjimjilbangs, and I will have to carry it around with me most of the time.

Register any foreign-made products (like laptops) so I don't have to pay duty on them when I come back.

Make copies of my passport and credit cards.

Buy a lock for luggage. Just in case I can't fit it into the lockers at the jjimjilbang.

Notify banks and credit card companies that I'm travelling. Double-check foreign transaction fees and BofA partner banks in Korea.

Get traveler's checks. Also find out if exchange rate might be better here.

Get a money belt that isn't uncomfortable. Also dry shampoo.

Pack basic first-aid kit.

Notes
ONE DAY TOTAL (from Seoul)

Panmunjeom tours:
http://www.uso.org/korea/
We are leaning towards USO tour because it is cheapest. But it is American-centric, doesn't include some extras (Imjingak, etc.), and doesn't include lunch.
