Ko Olina resort- tell gate guard you are going down to the lagoons. On weekends, you MUST go early (before 9 AM) to get a public parking space. Lagoon 4 (by the Marina) has the most parking. Lagoon 2 is the least crowded. Good snorkling with plenty of fish and even a sea turtle. Visibility not excellent, but decent. Relaxing, groomed ocean lagoons. Eat lunch at the timeshare resort poolside cafe.

A stop here is a must. It is the most photgraphed beach in Hawaii and appears in many ads. Parking is limited and you may have to walk 5 minutes or so, but it is worth it. Stop in Kailua and pick up some snacks or lunch. drive the 5 minutes to Lanikai and relax in paradise!
