You must cannot miss seeing Howard Hughes' "Spuce Goose," the largest airplane ever built. It wound up in McMinnville of all places because...just go see it and learn the story. You will have enjoyed a late breakfast so about 1:00 or so, drive 5 minutes to historic downtown McMinnville for a great lunch and leisurely shopping.
