Sharon G There is a very inexpensive bat trip that will take u to the inland water. It’s never rough and you will see many dolphins. I have seen Dolphins in the ocean but there is no grantee.
Mechelle IT not safe for women to walk alone in any city but if you stay in the tourist area it very safe.

My friends and I went to Tybee Island in search of some dolphins. It was a bit windy that day and the waves were rough so none to be found. I noticed that the water was warm as bath water. So different than the ocean in New England which never actually warms up much.

Savannah is a wonderful old town! Much walking to do around the downtown area especially in the many beautiful park squares that they have all over town. in between you'll find many wonderful places to eat that consist of all different price ranges. If you like to have a drink they have pubs mixed in for your enjoyment. So pack your good walking shoes, stop in to shop at the many cute shops along the way and eat and drink to your hearts content. Its the perfect place for cuples! Many romantic walks and cute places to go and enjoy together.
