Won plane tickets, and decided to use them to go to CA. Julio won the Blizzcon lottery, and was able to get a ticket, so here we go! This will be my first time in CA, and Julio's vist time vacationing there.

Notes
Nice city, very normal. The theme park/tourist area is Buena Vista. Anaheim seems to be a hispanic area, some Eastern Indian resturants, and Asian people. I would stay in Anaheim again, it is more quiet then the Buena Vista area, and everything is still close. Oh, the hotels and cheaper too.

From everything I have read, this has both the best reviews, and the most reasonable price. Plus, this hotel is on Anaheim's trolly system. Ok, it turns out it is not on the trolly system, and is not in the tourist area. It is a great hotel though. Loved it! Missed it when we left Anaheim.

Downtown Disney was nice, parking is free for the first 2 hours. Unless you are eatting there, or shopping, it will only take 2 hours. It is beautiful at night, and features live music by area musicians. There is a great Build a Bear store, and lots of Disney shopping.

We went a little after 7pm, and it was dark and creepy! The signage was not lit u, and if we did not have GPS, we never would have found it. Driving in, it is like a little village of craft stores. Since only 2 stores were open, it was a very odd place, and did not reflect the description given. It was too creepy for us to try again during daylight.
