Take a ferry from Sirkeci to Saryier
Thing to Do
Sun Sep 14 10:00am - Sun Sep 21 5:00pm
Notes
"For a do-it-yourself Bosphorus cruise, ferries depart from Eminönü Pier #3 at 10:35am and 1:35pm daily for the 2-hour excursion to the final stop at Anadolu Kavagi. Return ferries depart from Anadolu Kavagi at 3 and 5pm, but a time-saving option is to get off at the last stop, have lunch in one of the touristy but atmospheric fish restaurants on the quay, and take a bus back to Taksim. A one-way ticket on the ferry costs 4.50YTL/3.30 (7.50YTL/$5.55 round-trip)."

take underground tunel from Karakoy to tunel square. Board the historical cable car tram and ride up Istiklal street. Walk back down the street, see the flower passage, eat dinner,
"Istiklal Avenue is one of the most famous avenues in Istanbul, Turkey, visited by nearly 3 million people in a single day over the course of weekends. Located in the historic Beyoğlu district, it is an elegant pedestrian street, approximately three kilometers long, which houses exquisite boutiques, music stores, bookstores, art galleries, cinemas, theaters, libraries, cafés, pubs, night clubs with live music, historical patisseries, chocolateries and restaurants. The avenue, surrounded by the unique nineteenth century Turkish architecture, starts from the medieval Genoese neighbourhood around Galata Tower and ultimately leads up to Taksim Square."
